In our workshop on right-wing extremism and National Socialism, we explore the right-wing extremist scene in Germany, its characteristics, signs and symbols, as well as the general distinction between “right” and “left”. In preparation for a visit to a memorial site, such as Buchenwald or Theresienstadt, we refer to National Socialism, its victim groups, and the ways of thinking that are still prevalent in the far-right scene today, including racism, xenophobia, nationalism, antisemitism and anti-pluralism.
